The Health & Safety & Facilities Manager will be responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives within the company site to ensure functionality and compliance with all current legislation. The site is an ISO13485 production facility audited on a regular basis by clients and regulatory bodies and the Health & Safety & Facilities Manager will assure maintenance of the highest standards of H&S practices at all times. Responsibilities include project management, office and workshop refit and refurbishment, working with contractors, clients and regulatory institutions, ensuring best practice Safety at Work, chairing HS&E meetings, conducting risk assessments, accident investigations etc. Our client is a world leader in the manufacture of highly technical engineered medical products and has a strong international presence around the globe. The Health & Safety & Facilities Manager will have previous experience within a compliance, QUENSH, HSE or H&S environment, combined with a practical understanding of Facilities Management in the office environment e.g. building maintenance, telephony, contracted services, cleaning services, catering facility, compliance with and advising business stakeholders on relevant legislation such as Fire, Health & Safety, Insurance etc. The Health & Safety & Facilities Manager will possess industry relevant qualifications e.g Nebosh, membership of IOSH, BIFM etc, be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to lead process, policy and procedure improvements in a matrix management environment.
