Safety Treaties Analyst Health Treaties Analyst Standard Analysts Regulations Development Analyst
Primary Purpose of the Job • Plans, identifies, reviews and prioritizes the current international health or safety treaties and protocols relevant to the energy industry in Qatar and develop health implications on these treaties & protocols in order to ensure engagement of applicable stakeholders in compliance monitoring. • Participates in planning and development of appropriate command and control regulative policies in keeping with National vision and in step /commensurate with international obligations of the State of Qatar in terms of ratified health treaties both regional as well as international. • Establishes relations and cooperation’s with national, regional and international bodies to have better understanding of world wide health or safety treaties and protocols such as ILO, WHO treaties and share best practices and knowledge to improve health programs. • Establishes and manage data base relevant to the applicable health treaties and protocols. • Provides awareness to DG staff and petroleum operators of the State of Qatar on various health treaties and protocols.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience • Bachelors Degree in Science / Engineering / Management. Master degree in Safety Management or health management is preferred. • Minimum 10 years experience in the field, out of which at least 5 years experience in oil and gas industry. • Working knowledge of development, implementation and maintenance of approved health or safety programmes. • Computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Word, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Visio. • Experience in providing training on health treaties and protocols. • Senior level document writing, program planning and evaluation skills
