A large manufacturer is urgently looking for a Senior Environmental Coordinator to cover a potentially long term absence to be based at one of their plants in Kent. Working within a team of 4, you will be supporting the Environmental Manager in the management and coordination of the team and ensuring all site activities are conducted in an environmentally sound manner, in accordance with relevant environmental legislation and meeting internal environmental standards. Your remit will include, but not be limited to:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong technical skills throughout the role, as well as leadership abilities and excellent analytical and report writing skills. You will have well developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships, as well as problem solving and the ability to work effectively within a team. This is a very hands-on role, working within a supportive and dynamic team. This role requires someone who is flexible and can work under pressure in a fluid and changing environment, and who can work to tight deadlines when required. You will have a strong commercial mindset with excellent interpersonal skills in order to liase with various internal and external stakeholders.
