Our client, a leading provider of business services, with core products including Employee Assistance Programmes, Absence Management Solutions, Rehabilitation, Occupational Health and Internal Assistance, in addition to a range of telephone advice, information support services require an International Operations Shift Manager to join their established team based in Purley. As an International Operations Shift Manager you will be responsible for: Maximising the performance of the 24/7 International Assistance Operations and ensure services are delivered according to agreed standards. To be responsible for all case management and day to day function of the Operations Teams. To provide a primary point of contact for insurers in respect of complex and high cost cases. Responsible for IA Operations Team Leaders and team members and for overall day-to-day operational delivery.
Qualifications/Education Required
Educated to degree level and/or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills/Knowledge Required Managerial experience Experience in medical assistance case management Demonstrable achievements in medical assistance Call centre management (desired) Flexibility – the ability to adapt to unexpected situations. Problem solving – ability to see solutions and to ensure necessary work is carried out Leadership – ability to remain calm under pressure and to lead from the front. Understanding of call centre / operations environment Driving licence preferred
The post holder must be flexible and able to work unsociable hours and be on call out of hours (maximum - two weeks out of every four weeks)
