![]() An infrastructure service provider is seeking to appoint a SHEQ Manager. The role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining SHEQS processes, standards and procedures within the framework of current safety legislation, codes of practice, best practice and ISO standards. This will include promoting positive cultural and behavioural change while developing and maintaining UKAS certification to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 to a standard that is best in class. Duties include:- -Manage the enhancement and maintenance of SHEQ audits within the parameters of legal requirements, ISO and best practice. -Manage the design, implementation and monitoring of compliance of the Divisional systems, standards and processes within the framework of corporate policies, directives, legal requirements and ISO standards -Assess the Divisional needs with respect to SHEQ risks. This key functional position will require skills in diplomacy, communication and management. An excellent knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 is needed (ideally holding Lead Auditor status) along with an understanding of the CDM 2007 regulations. It is expected that candidates will be NEBOSH diploma/degree level educated and have an understanding of Environmental legislation. A construction/engineering background is essential. |
