Our client is the UK leading retailer in its field operating nationally and employing over 8000 employees across 500 locations. The company has demonstrated growth and consistent performance throughout the past few years and is looking to continue with this appointment.
The role will be to promote safety throughout the UK and ROI through a program of auditing, training to in store safety coordinators, liaising with store managers and relevant external bodies. The position will require extensive travel and candidates should be prepared to stay away during the week with 1 day being spent in Head Office.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with excellent organisational, communication and team-working skills. The ability to work under pressure to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is a fundamental requirement of this role, as well as a flexible and logical approach. NEBOSH Certificate required.
