Job Description An opportunity has arisen within this reputable multi - disciplinary Consultancy for a Director of Health and Safety Services. Reporting directly to the national Managing Director of Health and Safety, the post-holder will be responsible for the northern remit of this already highly successful business stream. The company consultants on all aspects of Health and Safety, including CDM coordination, access audits, environmental management, fire risk assesments and sustainability advice. Taking a hands-on approach, you will be responsible for the both the P+L and people management of this department made up of a sizable team based in several office locations. Externally you will liase with existing Client's on commissions whilst pursuing new opportuinites where they present themselves. This presents an excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety professional to progress their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. Person Specification
To be ideally based in West Yorkshire, applicants for this role will excel in Health and Safety within a construction consultancy environment and be well-versed in operating at a managerial and strategic level. You will have already managed a sizeable team across a number of different offices, whilst also being adept at Client liaison and business development.
A technical expert in the field of Health and Safety, you will also be a Chartered professional with the IOSH, the APS, the IIRSM and other such relevant institutions. This is the perfect role for the right candidate looking to take on the next rewarding challenge in their career.
