Job: Asbestos Quality / Technical Manager, East Midlands, £30,000 £36,000 + car My client are an environmental compliance specialist who have an array of extensive contracts with bluechip, multinational and public landlord clients. A highly qualified asbestos professional is required to manage the quality department within this organisation to ensure that all systems and processes and staff are audited and reviewed annually to ensure continued compliance to external accreditation standards held by the business. Specific responsibilities will include: • Correspond with external accreditation providers such as UKAS, ISOQAR as required to ensure maintenance of accreditation status.• Arrangement and management of audit schedules to ensure that all business activities are suitably reviewed annually.• Completion of assigned audits within the annual audit schedule• Arrangement and management of external quality schemes to which my client are a part of (RICE/AIMS)• Monitor customer complaints & feedback within the business and report findings to top level management• Assist in the investigation of noncompliance raised from audits & complaints• Review new or revised systems, processes and associated documentation to be used by the business against quality requirements • Report findings and progress of scheduled audits to top level management.• Represent my client as required during external meetings with clients and other interested parties.• Ensure internal quality control schemes are implemented and maintained to regularly assess quality outputs of the business.• Liaise with Commercial and Operational Teams to ensure identify training requirements are implemented to meet the needs of the business. job benefits CarBonus candidate requirements least 5 years experience within the Asbestos industry Experience liaising with UKAS and other external accreditation providers.
