ROLE OUTLINE: The role is to involve: Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys (as defined in HSG264) Carrying out re-inspections, update asbestos registers and asbestos management plans, ensuring that inspection works are carried out in accordance with documented procedures and comply with the quality system. Recording all site data and compile inspection reports. Reporting The position is initially for a 3 month fixed term contract to be reviewed. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Completion of asbestos surveys in full accordance with HSG 264 and WYG procedures Writing of technical asbestos survey reports Proactively interprets and takes appropriate actions / decisions Operates at a professional level Ensures departmental processes are adhered to SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Essential P402 qualified Must have at least 2 years asbestos surveying experience and capable of undertaking the duties of a lead asbestos surveyor within a UKAS accredited surveying organisation Ability to work independently or as a team Ability to support junior team members IT literate Desirable Clean driving license Own car fit for work purposes Salary: Competitive.
