An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to work for a specialist manufacturing company with a global presence.
The role will primarily be based from one site which is situated in East Sussex as well as managing multiple sites which will include some international travel.
As the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager, your responsibilities will include; implementing audits, risk assessment plans and health and safety procedures, managing the health and safety systems, managing improvements and recommending unique solutions to evolving regulatory issues.
The successful candidate will have will have a recognised apprenticeship, HND or degree with a minimum qualification of a NEBOSH certificate. You will have proven experience of working within a manufacturing and/or an engineering organisation.
My client is looking for someone who is happy to travel, can work to their own initiative and within a team and someone who has an energetic caliber and who is able to thrive on challenges.
