 This contractor to the rail industry has enjoyed continued growth both organically and through acquisition. They boast an impressive client portfolio of major names in the rail sector and have secured various long term contracts. Health and Safety is always top of their agenda and they are seeking to strengthen the H&S function through the addition of two new recruits. The role: *A hands on role ideal for a Graduate with experience in rail or civils and seeking their 2nd job following graduation *Assist in the production of any required project specific procedures and documentation i.e. project plans, general method statements, specific method statements, emergency plans as well as risk assessments, manual handling assessments and COSHH assessments *Preparation and delivery of Induction Talks and Tool box Talks *Inspections of sites and the undertakings of audits and report writing. Ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are taken where required *Accident/Incident Investigation The candidate *Minimum level NEBOSH Certificate *Rail or civil engineering experience *Bright, presentable and confident in presenting ideas *Excellent people skills *Ability to liaise with all levels of the business |
