 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a UK Health and Safety Manager within a prestigious private healthcare company. The organisation provides a range of services across specialist education, mental health, complex care, fostering and care homes. The successful applicant will assist and advise the company in all aspects of health, safety and fire safety management. They will develop and coordinate the implementation of Group Health and Safety policies and procedures across the business. The role: *Manage safety across approximately 900 sites ranging from care homes to private hospitals *Develop, coordinate and implement Group Health and Safety policy across the business *Fire Safety Management *Senior stakeholder engagement and interaction *Team management, ensuring best practice and ongoing monitoring of standards *Coordinate and assist with the implementation of company-wide compliance audits and fire risk assessments *UK wide travel with frequent overnight stays The candidate: *NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety *Preferably CMIOSH *Strategic level management experience across a diverse multi site organisation *Healthcare background either private or public sector *Commercially astute and priority driven |
