Job Description: 

My client is a pioneer in door security whose business has been built on their 8 core values. They are seeking to appoint a QHSE Manager to head up their ISO 2015 transitions and maintain their ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 accreditation.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Operations UK, you will be responsible for -

  • Responsible for maintaining quality accreditation for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ensuring periodic audits are scheduled to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Transition to new ISO 2015 standards (ISO 9001, ISO 140001 & ISO 18001)
  • Processing Commercial & Quality returns in line with Company procedure
  • Investigation and resolution of customer Quality complaints, including creation of effective root cause analysis and working with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Provide Legislative and regulation advice to the Management team on all matters relating to QHSE
  • Advising on internal EHS including incidents reporting (e.g. first aid, near miss, recordable cases etc.)
  • Deployment of corporate EHS programs
  • Support Gensuite consumption reporting (gas, electric, water etc.)
  • Carrying out internal Risk Assessments
  • Manage content and process of the new starter EHS induction process
  • Chairing monthly EHS committee meetings
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies
  • Coordinate waste and energy reduction initiatives
  • Occasional travel (less than 5%)

The Candidate:

  • Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 essential, including the 2015 standards
  • Experience in auditing to the above standards
  • Working knowledge of using basic quality tools
  • Experience in manufacturing/mechanical/electrical engineering
  • IT literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • NEBOSH Certificate or NEBOSH Dip 1
  • Membership of IOSH to at least Tech SP Status/Membership of IEMA/Membership of Chartered Quality Institute desirable
  • Self-starter, able to hit the ground running, proactive and keen to get stuck in
  • Someone who adheres to the company values, and is adaptable to change and flexible
